About Tim

I'm Tim, based in Westmorland—an area encompassing the Cumbria Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales in North England. The natural beauty of the local wildlife inspires my work.
I create contemporary art prints exploring three distinct collections: dramatic wildlife featuring British field and coastal birds or woodland creatures in striking linocut style; atmospheric Gothic scenes blending nature with mysterious churchyard landscapes; and modern abstract frequency art that visualises the invisible linear rhythms and sound waves.
All artwork is originally created digitally by me, Tim Ward, from my UK-based studio. I'm passionate about making high-quality art accessible to everyone while celebrating the graphic beauty that connects the natural world with abstract patterns.

My Art Style

My art reflects the rich diversity of animals that inhabit this region, including foxes, finches, robins, owls, deer, rabbits, voles, and more. I use a style best described as Neo-Folk Lino Cut—an art form blending the symbolic simplicity of English folk art and bold linocut style with contemporary digital techniques.
Each piece is professionally printed on premium Fine Art Matte paper (200gsm) and shipped worldwide through eco-conscious print-on-demand. Whether you're drawn to the raw power of seabirds, the haunting beauty of Gothic imagery, or the sophisticated elegance of sound wave abstractions, you'll find affordable, gallery-quality prints that make a statement in any contemporary space.

Creative Process

My creative process embraces both traditional style and modern technology, including Affinity Designer and DALL-E assisted digital tools, allowing me to explore new artistic possibilities while maintaining the authentic feel of handcrafted work.
