I'm Tim, an artist based in Westmorland an area encompassing the Cumbria Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales, North England, where the natural beauty of the local wildlife inspires my work.
My art reflects the rich diversity of animals that inhabit this region, including foxes, finches, robins, owls, deer, rabbits, voles, and more.
I use a style which can best be described as Neo-Folk Lino Cut. An art form blending the symbolic simplicity of English folk art and bold linocut with contemporary digital techniques.
My creative process embraces both traditional style and modern technology, including Affinity Designer and DALL-E assisted digital tools, allowing me to explore new artistic possibilities while maintaining the authentic feel of handcrafted work.
This innovative approach allows me to balance the timeless qualities of linocut with the creative potential of digital and DALL-E art, resulting in pieces that feel both familiar and fresh.
